Every once in a while, some magazine or organization comes out with a list similar to these. While they probably have ulterior motives, it provides an opportunity for salespeople that most don’t take advantage of.
Not every Top X Under X will hit the business lottery. For every Steve Jobs, there’s probably a thousand Harvey Groopman’s. Still, it’s to your advantage to connect with them while they are young and upcoming. There is no downside to building a relationship with a mover and shaker. As anyone with a few decades of experience will tell you, who you know becomes increasingly valuable.
